SITE VISIT
12th March 2020
Designed in a collaboration by Cox Architecture and Fender Katsalidis, the mixed use development at Queens Place is valued at $355 million and will see the construction of a six-level basement, six-level podium and the first 80 level residential tower, providing a total of 815 apartments in a range of floorplans including one, two and three-bedroom configurations plus exclusive penthouses.
Upon completion, they will be amongst the tallest buildings in Melbourne, and the tallest twin skyscrapers in Australia.
Students will have the opportunity to visit the site with both leading architecture practices Cox and FK, to understand the site constraints upon visiting the site and the collaboration process between the two firms.
