CYP Design & Construction (CYP D&C), a joint venture comprising Lendlease, John Holland and Bouygues Construction, are delivering the Tunnels and Stations for the Metro Tunnel Project and will host a site visit to the new Parkville Station.

This is an exciting opportunity to experience the site where the new station is being built. You’ll learn about the current construction activities including the excavation of the station box which will eventually be up to 32 metres below ground and approximately 270 metres long.

The Metro Tunnel will transform the way we travel to and from the suburbs. In Parkville, the new station connects this world- class education, health and research precinct to the rail network for the first time, and includes station entrances on the doorstep of The University of Melbourne and some of Victoria’s biggest hospitals.

Students are to meet at the site office for a presentation and safety briefing prior to the tour.
