Activity: Studio Tour + Portfolio Reviews

The Open Day Series 2023 provides students an opportunity to visit the Melbourne studio of leading Audtralian design practice Wardle, and learn about the firm’s design philosophy and processes. This is a rare opportunity. Wardle has uniqie and sophisticated taste. The masters themselves- designing our own MSD are opening their doors for students to have in person experience of the creative environment of Wardle. Their portfolio spans from Ian Potter Southbank Centre to MSD and more recent award winning Bendigo Law Court, Phoenix Central Park and Spring Place.Upon completion, they will be amongst the tallest buildings in Melbourne, and the tallest twin skyscrapers in Australia.

Students will have the opportunity to visit the site with both leading architecture practices Cox and FK, to understand the site constraints upon visiting the site and the collaboration process between the two firms.
